Lil' E's Birthday, Halloween Fun and The Party!

Last Tuesday our baby girl turned 4! Where has the time gone is what we want to know! I really do remember like it was yesterday asking Dad and MeMe "Who does she look like" about 2 seconds after she was born and them saying in unison "Like Aiden." And then after about an hour (slow nurses) holding her for the first time. What a wonderful and special girl we have got! She has changed our lives for absolutely nothing but the better! She is full of attitude, confident, loud, bossy, a total girly girl and we wouldn't change a thing! We had a 'family party' on her birthday. We went to Chili's for dinner, then went to Aiden's school for the fall festival, then came home and opened presents and had brownie cake!

Being sung to at Chili's...it's all Korean employees and they come out and just shout "Birthday" about 50 times! It's quite the experience! Sorry the pic is bad...I hit a button on my camera and changed the setting without realizing it.

Birthday brownie cake...notice her costume...Uncle Kyle and Sarah gave her that and she LOVES it! They definitely win the award for favorite gift!!

On Friday we had Aiden's school character parade and Mrs. Crosby, Aiden's teacher, was nice enough to let Elaina march in it, too!

On Friday night Dad had a roll call (fighter pilot thing) and he had to go in costume. Of course we didn't know that until 3 days before, so we had to come up with a costume quick and we decided since I'm preggers why not just go as white trash! I met up with him at the O'Club after his roll call!

Did you know Fat Elvis and Marilyn (aka Jeff and Noelle) hung out with white trash? Must have been a real low point in their lives!

On Saturday morning we got up early and got ready for the kid's combined birthday party! It was really fun and God blessed us with the most beautiful weather you could ask for! We had a few games for the kid's to play and some fun Halloween inspired food! A pretty great day for the Smiley kiddo's!

Happy Birthday, Aiden! He wanted a mummy cake, so I improvised and made mummy cupcakes!

Laina wanted a pumpkin cake, so again I improvised and just made cute orange and green cupcakes and arranged them into the shape of a pumpkin! Notice she is in a Cinderella costume. That was her actual Halloween costume, but after Uncle Kyle sent her her peacock she didn't want to be Cinderella anymore! Sorry this pic isn't great...Dad was on camera duty!

On Sunday it was Halloween! We live in towers here, so it makes it nice because you don't have to dress warm for the cold weather since you don't have to go outside! Our doorbell rang and I thought it was going to be our friends and this is what we opened the door to!

There were like 60 people outside our door and down our hall...it was crazy! They turn off the lights in the hall for atmosphere I'm assuming, so you can't tell how many people there were, but it was crazy!!

Our little Peacock Princess aka the Peacock candy nazi! When we got home we let her be in charge of handing out candy. Heaven forbid you try to take more than the 1 TINY piece she gave you or ask for something different...she was going to bite your head off! She was yelling at kid's "You got your 1 piece!
