Our Life

Our sweet little girl is sick as a dog today (stomach bug-pray nobody else gets it), so I thought while Hudson naps and she watches a movie (and naps off and on) I'd do a quick blog. It's just a hodge podge of what we've been doing the past few weeks.

We had field day at Aiden's school, so I let Elaina skip school and join in the fun!

Here they are doing the tug of war...kid's vs. teacher's...kid's won!

Balloon pop races

Notice noone else stripped down to there bikini....gotta love that girl!

We went to the BX-e and this was going on outside...

Land of the 'Not Quite Right'! A Korean, wearing a sombrero, celebrating Cinco de Mayo from 13-14 May.

We went the travel place to work on our parents only trip to Borneo (we leave on 7 June) and what do you do while you wait? Let big brother and sister see if they can carry Hudson of course!

That made us VERY nervous!

Even Hudson looks a little nervous, huh?!

We were walking around downtown and I snapped these...

Eels anyone?

If that's not your thing how about some peppers?

We just finished up baseball season lastnight.

Aiden playing catcher...his fave!
Laina with all of her friends watching their brother's play baseball. Definitely future cheerleaders!

We went to the D.O. of the Draggin's fini and they turned all the kid's loose with the fire hose...can you tell they had fun?

The three boy's in front are his sons. What's funny is they really don't realize how cool this stuff is. When we were little we would have had such fun going out on the flight line just to look at fighter jets. Let alone get up close and personal with them!

We had the Draggin' Ball last weekend. Here we are and I didn't bring my camera with a flash...what was I thinking??

It's okay though...I had my dress made downtown and it didn't turn out exactly as I planned, so I think I'm okay with it being a little dark.

Playing at home....

Smiley Stack! Aren't they the 3 cutest kid's you've ever seen? We sure think so!

Next week MeMe and Aunt Carolyn (aka CaCa) are coming in and we're off to Borneo, China and a few other fun adventures. Hopefully I'll be able to blog a little here and there.

Happy Birthday, Buddha!

We celebrated ole' Buddha's birthday a couple of weeks ago (we have no idea how old he is) and it was surprisingly fun. The base temple, which is part of the Korean side of the base, had lantern making and they were supposed to do a parade which would have been really neat (we saw part of one of the floats), but it got rained out...oh well...we have next year.) Anywho...here are the photos of us making lanterns...

The fam in front of the temple...it's a really pretty building. We've lived here a year and a half and it was our first time to ever see it and it's only a 7 min walk from our house (sad, we know).

Poor Hudson...all I can think of is my Mom saying "I want to love you, and hug you, and stroke your fur the wrong way!"

Getting ready to make lanterns!

Elaina and Reagan working on her's...the lady kept going "Oh no no no!" everytime she put a petal on when they weren't perfect and Elaina would say "I want to do it by myself!" Then the lady would say "ok ok ok" It was really funny.

We're making lanterns....they told me I was "Natural!" So, when the kid's go off to school maybe I'll take up oragami or some other paper art!

I LOVE Koreans for this....they LOVE babies. Anywhere we go they want to hold and take care of Hudson...it's wonderful for us!

Dad's turn to work on a lantern.

Aiden's is all done.

The fam with our lanterns and Buddha....apparently there are several different Buddha's. This one is in charge of the "Earth" growing plants, etc. we think. Often times things are lost in translation.
A and E outside with all the pretty lanterns hanging around them. They did a great job decorating the temple.

In front of a Buddha statue outside the temple.

Here a few extras. If things go as planned, which they always do, right?, I will get a couple more blogs out this week because we've been busy, busy, busy!

Aiden had his first sleepover! His friend, Collin, came to our house. This was pretending to be some two headed Star Wars character. Now Aiden is wanting to go sleepover at someone else's house, but we're not sure he's (read we're) ready :)

I LOVE technology. E was playing with my nook while Hudson watched and I got about 30 uninterupted minutes of time to work around the house-it's the little things, right?!
Have you EVER seen such a sweet baby? We could eat him up!

Every Girl's Dream

So, I've seen this A LOT on facebook lately since the royal wedding and I think it's just too funny not too share!

"Kate Middleton you just lived out every girl's dream by marrying....a pilot!"

I love that. It certainly was my dream! However, I want to point out that while her's may also be a prince mine is a fighter pilot and has more hair ;) Now if we could just work on upgrading from Hallasan Tower, Korea to a castle in Wales....

Come back soon....we celebrated Buddha's birthday this week!

Blessed!

Everyday I know that I am blessed with the best hubby and kid's a girl could ask for! I love them more than words can describe! However, on Mother's Day I want to give a big shout out to the best Momma and Mom-in-law ever! I love y'all, MISS y'all and thank you so much for the example that you are to me!!

My 3 'little' babes on Mother's Day!
MeMe, Hud and Gramma....gosh he's changed a lot!

You're A Nut!

Conversation with Elaina....

Let me set the stage: She was pretending to be a music teacher with one of her friends and it was cracking me up!
Me: Elaina you're a nut!
Elaina: HUH! Mommy I'm not a nut. That's not nice. You just called me one of Aiden's private spots!

Out of the mouths of babes, huh?!

Now We're Really Rolling!

Hudson turned 5 months on the 3rd and decided he was going to start rolling. He is our first to roll from back to front. He was so proud of himeself the first time he did it. It was too cute! He's been trying and trying for about a week and he's finally got it down. The only problem...he doesn't like to be on his tummy and he doesn't know how to roll back over, so there's been a lot of crying the past couple of days. We're hoping he figures out front to back pretty soon! Here's a video of his 4th time rolling over.
