Here goes! I was going to try and get it all done tonight, but then I downloaded the pics and we took over 500. So, I decided I'm just going to do a little at a time. It takes a while to go through pics, edit, etc. Here we go....
First off if you EVER get the opportunity to go to Australia....run there. It is an incredible country. We had a wonderful time. We had yet another trip of a lifetime. What great family memories were made.
Sydney Day 1.
We took the red eye to Sydney and arrived at the house we were renting around 1:00. We decided to take it easy and just walk around and explore the neighborhood we were staying in, Cremorne Point. It was such a fun little neighborhood. Our house was on the water and literally 100 feet away from a ferry stop. The views speak for themselves.
If you ever hear us talking about how much we love Asian airlines this is why. They do things like have bassinette's for your baby for free, so you don't have to hold them on 10+ hour flights...take notes US carriers! By the way, this is Hudson waving after he woke up from a nap.
After a quick shower we decided to go exploring. The view from our front yard. Not too shabby!
Going on a walk in our neighborhood. It was SO nice to have open space to walk around.
A pic of some of the homes. They were incredible.
Having a picnic on our first night....we found gluten free pizza. Heaven! Can we move??
Our view at night. Pretty spectacular. We did NOT get tired of looking at this!

After the Opera House we went to the Botanical Gardens. They were beautiful and full of business people having lunch and working out. We couldn't get over it. That's what we need more of in the states.
In front of a building the Queen used to use, but is now used for functions.
After the gardens we decided to head to Sydney's historic district, called the Rocks.
We found a place that served gluten free beer. Dad was much more excited about this than Mom and insisted I get one. It has been 5 years since I had a beer. It was fun to have it, but I have to say I don't think I've missed much. ;)
While in the Rocks you can do all sorts of Sydney Harbour Bridge tours to include walking across the top of it. The kid's were too little for most, but Dad took them up to one of the lookout points, to they could say they did it. Hudson and I stayed downstairs where I got pooped on by a bird for the first time in my life. Not fun!
The views from the bridge.
Being silly on the lookout point.
We ended the day by eating at the famous Pancakes on the Rocks. The kid's are showing off their caterpillar pancakes complete with 3 scoops of vanilla ice cream. That's a dinner they could get used to!
Well, I'm going to end here for the night. I will hopefully get another one out in the next day or two.
