The Glamour Girl Party

On Saturday we celebrated Elaina's 5th birthday. Crazy! We had a Glamour Girl party. I made tutu's for all the girl's and we did hair, makeup, nails and then they walked the 'catwalk' and struck a pose. It was a really fun day and all of the little girls had a good time.

Here's some pre-party pics!

When the girl's walked in they picked out their tutu.
Then they went and got their hair done.
Followed by makeup and nails.
Elaina with her beautiful cake my friend Katie made. She is amazing!
The whole room all done up for the Glamour Girl party!

The party begins!
I just think this pics is so cute...little girls being little girls!
Mommy working on our Glamour Girl's makeup!
Check out those nails...the hit of the party!
Glamour Girl Elaina and Glamour Girl Carlie.

Elaina's turn to get her hair done...are awesome very own Auntie Chanie came over and manned the hair salon-she rocks!

We have the World's Best Daddy!! Check out these photos!

Seriously...Dad of the year! He danced with each of the girl's...it was a hoot! Here he is dipping Elaina....she loves that! I think it's funny that she closes her eyes.

After the mini dance party they walked the cat walk and struck a pose!
Here's our girl's pose...they strutted their stuff!

All the Glamour Girl's.

Time for cake and ice cream!

Seriously...even the cake has a tutu. Katie rocks!
Sort of family photo...minus one of our own, but adding someone else's! Poor Huddy slept through the whole party.

Present time!

It was a great party and all the little girl's were so cute. I'm already wondering what we're going to do next year!

On Sunday we went to a costume party for some of Aiden's friends. We already decided we weren't going to do Halloween this year because we are going to be in Australia and we don't even know if they celebrate Halloween. So, none of the kid's had costumes. Fortunately Aiden still had his from last year and Elaina has tons of dress up clothes, so they were set. However, our poor third child had nothing. So, for his first Halloween he was half skeleton half peacock.
We are glad to cover the therapy bills! I will point out though he is clearly a happy, well fed and loved to bits baby!

All (sort of) dressed up. Kyle and Sarah can y'all tell she LOVES that costume?!

Well, that's it for a couple of weeks...Australia here we come. We get back home on 5 November, so check back towards the end of that week!! Pray for safe travel, good weather and all the stuff that goes along with a big trip please!

  1. She's still wearing it! Yes!
This was a sweet party- we really liked Patrick's role.
Elaina's laugh/smile in the 3rd dancing picture is really cute (she looks like Aiden in that one).
